The main input for auto ancillaries is steel. With the reduction in import duty and reduction in steel prices, the company will be able to save on its input costs and thus offer competitive prices.  Coal and nickel prices (which are inputs for steel) going cheaper will also benefit the company indirectly.  Bharat Forge is the largest manufacturer of forgings and machined components in India. The company offers forgings for axles and engines (crank shafts, camshafts and connecting rods), and these product categories account for nearly 80 per cent of its revenue.  It has nearly 80 per cent share in the axle forgings market in India
