India expects Pakistan to bring to justice all perpetrators and conspirators of the 26/11 terror attack in Mumbai and uncover the entire conspiracy, the government said in the Lok Sabha today.

"We expect Pakistan to act on the information provided by us to uncover the entire conspiracy, and to bring all the perpetrators and conspirators of the heinous terrorist crime to justice," Minister of State for External Affairs Preneet Kaur said during the Question Hour.

She assured the members that the government was committed to taking all necessary steps to safeguard the security of its citizens.

Pointing out that 164 people were killed and 308 wounded in the attack, Kaur said India had on January 5 this year given Pakistan material linking Mumbai attack to elements from its soil.

"Subsequently, clarifications and additional information were handed over on March 13 and May 20 this year.

Islamabad has confirmed that elements in Pakistan were involved in the attack, that Lashkar-e-Taiba had carried out and informed about the arrest of five Pakistani nationals said to be responsible," she added.
