Indian Firms Need Time To Become Competitive: Ficci

Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) today urged the government to address Competition Law issues in three stages, instead of enacting a bill and implementing it immediately.

In the first stage, the competition commission should be incorporated with an advisory or advocacy role for three to five years for gaining experience and better understanding of the law, Ficci says.
