Indo-Thai FTA

Close on the heels of the Indian team's visit to Thailand for discussions on bilateral free trade agreement, Ficci President YK Modi met Thailand's Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and Commerce Minister Watana Muangsook in Bangkok to promote business ties between the countries.

The countries apprised each other of the apprehensions of the industry in their countries about the free trade agreement (FTA).

Ficci chief and Muangsook agreed to intensify the communication process to make FTA a reality.
