"Children of industrial workers as per the Industrial Dispute Act 1947, whose monthly income is below Rs 6,500 will get financial assistance for technical degree and diploma courses," said sources in the Office of the Labour Commissioner, here.
The financial assistance for the students pursuing degree courses will be Rs 4,000 each and for diploma courses, it will be Rs 3,000 where as those studying certificate courses will get Rs 2,000, the sources said.
The scheme will be implemented from this academic session itself, they said.
