The annual rate of inflation declined another 0.32 per cent to 3.02 per cent for the week ended October 5, compared to 3.18 per cent for the corresponding period last year.
The wholesale price index for the period declined 0.1 per cent to 167.2 from 167.3 a week ago. The index stood at 162.4 last year.
The final price index for the week ending August 10 stood revised at 166.9 as against the provisional figure of 166.7, while inflation stood at 3.15 per cent as against the estimated 3.03 per cent.
