"We sell about 50,000 copies of the yellow pages a year, in addition to which we distribute one lakh CDs as complimentary," Bikky Khosla said. |
The directory consists of a database of one lakh companies. There are about 6,000 Andhra companies listed in the directory. The information is divided into 665 categories, including 609 product and 56 service categories. |
The company has now decided to update the directory every six months. |
Infocom Networks posted Rs 6 crore turnover last fiscal and expects to exceed Rs 10 crore this year. |
The company also has a online version of the directors via a web site: www.trade-india.com, which has got about 2.45 lakh registered users. |
"We are getting over 400 new registrations and over two lakh page views every day. Since the launch of the portal in 2000, about 3.45 lakh enquiries were registered," Khosla informed. |
There are about 8,000 paid subscribers for the portal, while another 2.33 lakh subscribers receive its weekly news letter. |
