The High Court Circuit Bench (HCCB), Dharwad, has given an interim stay on amendments to the Karnataka State Co-Operative Act-1977.

As per the amendment, the co-operative societies have to audit their account with any one of the 10 auditors mentioned by the government.

Challenging this, more than 15 co-operative societies had filed writ petition at the HCCB.
