The unison of such minds will provide the platform for taking on the world, he added.

P G R Scindia, industries minister Karnataka said that the state will go ahead with Israel's proposal after obtaining necessary approvals from the union government.

He added, " Early next year our delegation, most probably led by chief minister Dharam Singh, will go to Israel and finalise the MoU there. In all certainty, the agreement will be implemented in 2005."

The minister, while lauding Israel's irrigation techniques said, Karnataka will stand to gain from learning the process, as certain parts of the state face water shortage.

The delegation comprises representatives from aviation,. bio-tech, ICT, hardware, banking and finance space. The delegation is exploring possible joint venture with Indian firms in high-tech space, besides participation in national and government projects.
