To be built at a cost of Rs 50 crore on a 1,20,000 sqft area, the seven-storeyed Expo City will boast of four floors of food courts and three floors of shopping malls, besides a recreation centre and an exhibition centre. |
Construction major Shapoorji Pallonji has been assigned the construction job of Expo City which is to be completed in a year. |
The Expo City is planned to be one-stop recreation and shopping centre, where the biggest names in F&B and retail will occupy the floor-space. The ground floor of the centre will have banquet halls with a capacity of over 1,000 people. |
The first and second floors will house boutique suites (three star), international business centre, a spa and a swimming pool, while fast food outlets, coffee bars, kids' entertainment and video game arcades will take up the third floor. |
The fourth and fifth floors cater to banquets and events. The sixth floor houses restaurants, pubs and cocktail lounges, and the terrace will have facilities for recreation and skating. |
