ITE plans recreation centre in Hyderabad

ITE Group India, a leading international exhibition organising company, is coming up with Expo City, a joint venture with AP tourism department, at the lower Tank Bund.
 

To be built at a cost of Rs 50 crore on a 1,20,000 sqft area, the seven-storeyed Expo City will boast of four floors of food courts and three floors of shopping malls, besides a recreation centre and an exhibition centre.
 

Construction major Shapoorji Pallonji has been assigned the construction job of Expo City which is to be completed in a year.
 

The Expo City is planned to be one-stop recreation and shopping centre, where the biggest names in F&B and retail will occupy the floor-space. The ground floor of the centre will have banquet halls with a capacity of over 1,000 people.
 

The first and second floors will house boutique suites (three star), international business centre, a spa and a swimming pool, while fast food outlets, coffee bars, kids' entertainment and video game arcades will take up the third floor.
 

The fourth and fifth floors cater to banquets and events. The sixth floor houses restaurants, pubs and cocktail lounges, and the terrace will have facilities for recreation and skating.
