Initially the project will be implemented in 10 talukas of Jamnagar district.
According to Manish Bhardwaj, the newly appointed district development officer of Jamnagar, under the project the mukhia of a village will be able to register a complaint against a government employee through a tall-free telephone attached to a computer at the district panchayat.
He says the presence of a village level employee is essential while implementing a government scheme. However, most of the time the officer sits at the headquarter which leads to the implementation of the project going haywire.
