The Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the Janata Dal (JD), which is scheduled to meet here tomorrow, is likely to discuss the fall-out of yesterdays interrogation of Bihar Chief Minister and partys national president Laloo Prasad Yadav in Patna by the CBI.
Yadav is the first head of a state government to be examined by the premier investigative agency while still in office. The CBI had earlier examined four of Yadavs Cabinet colleagues. They were, animal husbandry minister Bhola Ram Toofani, planning minister Tulsi Singh, agriculture minister Ramjivan Singh and labour minister Vidya Sagar Nishad.
Dal leaders maintained an apparent calm yesterday as rep-orts of the CBIs interrogation reached here. They termed the interrogation as a routine affair. We believe investigative agencies should be allowed to function according to law. The charges have not been framed. He has just been interrogated, partys working president Sharad Yadav said.
