The Karnataka High Court appointed B V Acharya, a senior advocate, public prosecutor for the trial in the Rs 66 crore "disproportionate assets" case against Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa, H K Patil, Karnataka's minister for law and parliamentary affairs told reporters here.
 
The court has completed translating to English, some 17,000 pages of documents in Tamil, which it obtained following the transfer of the case to Karnataka by the SC.
