Jharkhand hikes salaries of State Women Commission officials

Jharkhand government has increased the salaries of the state Women Commission officials. The salary of chairperson of the Commission has increased from Rs 24,500 to Rs 70,380 per month and other members of the Commission will now draw Rs 63,850 per month against their existing salary of Rs 22,400.

The government also increased the honorarium of government pleaders to Rs 500 per day from existing Rs 150 while attending the court cases.

The government also decided to increase the benefits under Assured Career Promotion (ACP) for forest guards and foresters. Forest guards were earlier paid between Rs 4,000 and Rs 6,000 as first ACP benefits. They will now get Rs 6,500 and Rs 10,500.
