Jharkhand is likely to establish a sports university drawing facilities from the Mega Sports Complex equipped with Rs 10,000 crore sports facility for the 34th National Games which inaugurated by the state Governor M O H Farook on Saturday evening.
Jharkhand Olympic Association (JOA) chairman R K Anand while welcoming the athletes of all 28 states and five Union territories, said that nowhere in the world any one see at least 10 world-class stadiums within a single premises, which Jharkhand built.
Indian Olympic Association president Suresh Kalmadi said that the games would enable the country pick a core team of players for the London Olympics. The selected players would then be sent for proper training with international coaches.
