Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy is arriving in New Delhi tomorrow to brief Prime Minister Manmohan Singh about the probe into the Bangalore link to the terror plot in Britain. He would also meet Home Minister Shivraj Patil, his spokesperson said.

Kumaraswamy has faced criticism for not finding time for a meeting of the state cabinet to plan a strategy to prevent terrorism-linked incidents in Karnataka.

He was to chair a high-level security meeting on July 10 to discuss the latest revelations about the alleged involvement of suspects from Bangalore in the foiled UK terror plot.

The meeting's aim was to debate vital leads on the links of Kafeel Ahmed, suspected to have driven a burning jeep into Glasgow Airport, his brother Dr Sabeel Ahmed, and their cousin Dr Mohammed Haneef.

The meeting was postponed because Kumaraswamy was busy attending the Assembly session. He, however, was present for the release of Kannada actor Shivraj Kumar's biography the same evening. On Wednesday, he was again busy with the session and did not chair the security meeting.

He also kept state police officers waiting for hours for a meeting on the latest attack by the Naxalites. This meeting, held finally today, came against the background of serious communal riots in Mangalore barely six months ago.
