| The research project has been made mandatory for all the students. In addition to this, it also aims to develop dental science as a specialty and provide training for the same, he said. |
| He added that the research institute has been specifically designed to provide state-of-art clinical research settings to conduct GCP/GLP complaint research trials related to oral health and bio-materials. |
| As per the release, the centre also provides comprehensive service that supports multi-disciplinary and long term clinical studies and product trials. |
| Some of the activities being held at the centre includes planning, implementing and conducting international clinical trials, amalgamation of research into academics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, adverse event management to study drug management and case report from development to data management. |
| Mittal said the institute also organises conclaves and educational tours. The centre offers an interface to substantially speed up the process of regulatory clearance of the protocol. |
