City-based KIIT University has entered into a MoU (memorandum of understanding) with Mumbai-based Aries Agro Limited, a company engaged in the business of manufacturing micronutrients for plants and animals.’
The MoU was signed by LK Vaswani, director, KIIT School of Management, a constituent of KIIT University and Rahul Mirchandani, executive director of Aries Agro Limited on Monday in the presence of A Samanta, founder of KIIT Group of Institutions.
The MoU will be mutually beneficial to both the organisations and promote agri-business, said Samanta. According to the MoU, the students pursuing MBA in rural management from the KIIT School of Rural Management would undertake action oriented research in areas like village study and management traineeship.
Moreover, the faculty members of the KIIT School of Management would conduct high quality training programmes for the staff of Aries Agro Limited.Aries Agro would use the services of the KIIT School of Management to extend the network and promotional activities among the farmers across the country.
Aries Agro will contribute to the academic excellence of the KIIT School of Management in the area of crop nutrition and protection by providing the necessary support in building expertise.
