KIIT workshop on soft skills

KIIT School of Languages, a constituent of the city-based KIIT University organised a workshop on Effective Presentation Skills and Essential Soft Skills for the students of Professional Colleges on Sunday. The workshop was organised by KIIT School of Languages in association with the British Council, Kolkata. The workshop was inaugurated by SC De Sarkar, vice-chancellor of KIIT University and Manish Gupta, manager (young audience) of British Council, Kolkata. The art of effective communication requires knowledge of verbal and non-verbal skills and this workshop would definitely give a positive output to the students, said Sarkar. The workshop aimed at teaching and training the target group on soft skills for effective interaction at the intra and inter-personal levels as well as institutional levels in the changing information environment.
