Kerala State Small Industries Association (KSSIA) along with Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Kinfra) and Kerala Bureau of Industrial Promotion (K-bip) will organise five-day conference 'Enterprises Kerala 2003' from May 6 to 11.
The event, to be held in Thiruvanathapuram, is taking place when Kerala is finally waking up to the immense potential of the food processing industry. It would comprise exhibitions on food technology as well as a seminar on food processing and packaging.
A Kinfra official said the event was being organized with a view to driving home the message that if the Indian food processors were to exploit the opportunities thrown open by the WTO regime they should ensure that they adhere to the quality requirements by investing in the best possible technologies.
