Completed last month, the port trust has constructed barracks for officers and jawans, a multi-purpose building and other facilities for CISF jawans.
Around 430 CISF personnel stationed at Kandla will benefit from the project. KPT has set up the facilities in 10 acres with earthquake-resistant design.
The facilities include quarters, mess along with a dining hall, quarter guard unit, garage, dog kennel, transport, office premises with furniture among others.
