The company, a joint venture between L&T and AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), has bagged mandate from five major companies - Convergys, Oracle, Satyam Computer Services, Aplabs and Anant Technologies -- to develop independent facilities for them. |

Convergys, which is setting up a center for software services, call center and a dedicated data center in about five acres, has assigned the development job to L&T Infocity for speedier execution. The facility will have a built-up area of 1.6 lakh sqft and can seat upto 1500 employees. |

Satyam, which was allotted a 17-acre land by the state government near Madhapur, is setting up a BPO facility for its subsidiary Nipuna Services. |

Oracle was allotted 9 acres for setting up its development center. Aplabs and Anant Technologies were allotted two acres each for setting up their centers. |

According to sources, L&T Info is also pitching for the Microsoft India Development center campus. |

The US major was allotted 30 acres in which it plans to construct a development facility and a high-end technical help desk with 2000 seats. The new campus, with an initial built-up area of 2.5 lakh sqft, is expected to grow to 7.5 lakh sqft. |

Meanwhile,Cyber Pearl, the third IT infrastructure facility coming up at the Hi-Tec City, is receiving encouraging enquiries from the IT and ITES companies. |

The facility, promoted as a 50:50 joint venture company between L&T Infocity and Singapore-based Ascendas Private Limited, is being developed in two phases to offer a total of 5 lakh sqft of business space on a five acre plot. |

Sources said that enthused by the response to the project, the joint venture has decided to charge slightly higher rentals compared to the existing rentals of Rs 35 per sqft. |
