RJD supremo and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad is locked in a keen contest in Saran parliamentary constituency of Bihar but is leading in Patliputra.
According to trends available so far, Prasad, who was initially trailing behind BJP rival Rajiv Pratap Rudy after the completion of the first round of counting in Saran, has now forged ahead.
He has established a lead of over 2,000 votes on completion of the second round of counting of votes in Saran.
In Patliputra too he has a similar margin over his friend-turned-foe JD(U) nominee Ranjan Prasad Yadav.
