The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has called for boosting tourism in Rajasthan by going in for a marketing and publicity blitz.
CII, in a memorandum to the state government, said ignorance and adverse publicity wherein some countries issued travel warnings for India, particularly Rajasthan, hit the tourist inflow.
Calling it objectionable, Rajiv Jain, chairman, CII Rajasthan state council, said it should be taken up with the external affairs ministry.
