The Liberhan Commission report and the ATR, which were tabled in Parliament today, will come up for discussion in the Lok Sabha on December 1.
"It was decided in the Business Advisory Committee meeting of the Lok Sabha today that discussion on the Liberhan Commission report would be held on December 1. No issue has been fixed for discussion on Wednesday to keep the day free in case the Liberhan debate goes on till the next day," Swaraj said.
The Rajya Sabha has not yet fixed a date for the debate.
BJP sources said several of its members in both Houses wanted to speak on the issue and the party was having a tough time in finalising the list of speakers.
The Lok Sabha BAC fixed the schedule for other debates as well. November 25 has been set aside for a debate on shortage of fertilisers and seeds, followed by price rise on the next day. Murli Manohar Joshi (BJP) and Rajiv Ranjan Singh (JD-U) will initiate the debate on price rise on behalf of NDA.
The Parliament will not function on Friday on the occasion of Eid.
A debate on Climate Change will take place on December 3, followed by a Calling Attention Motion the next day on the plight of Tamilians in Sri Lanka.
