Madhya Pradesh to implement 7th Pay Commission recommendations

In good news for state government employees, Madhya Pradesh Finance Minister Jayant Malaiya on Monday announced that the 7th Pay Commission recommendations would be implemented from the current financial year.

Malaiya, who was speaking at an event at the Gramin Jeevan Jyoti Training Institute in Rau, said the state government has taken a decision to implement the Seventh Pay Commission recommendations.

"We have decided to convert 48,000 daily wagers into permanent employees," Malaiya said.

He also said the state government will give financial support to Medhavi students for studying in IITs, IIMS and state medical colleges and the government has made a provision of Rs 100 crore for this.
