Manesar park to take last bids on November 8

Only companies that plan to develop more than 10 acres of land in the township can apply

In an attempt to speed up the development of technology parks in the Manesar industrial model township, the Haryana State Industrial Development Corporation (HSIDC) has invited expressions of interest from anchor units or developers.
 
According to a senior HSIDC official, the last date for submission of the bid is November 8. However, only those companies could apply that plan to develop more than 10 acres of land in the industrial model township, the official added.
 
"Developers seeking allotment will have to bring an anchor unit which should meet the rules and regulations of the HSIDC," the official said. The anchor unit will be required to use at least 30 per cent of the total constructed area of the campus for its own unit, he added.
 
The developers will have to attach with the expression of interest, a copy of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with the anchor unit or the joint venture partnership or an undertaking given by the anchor unit to that effect.
 
Only those companies could enter the bid which were in the field of information technology, ITES, robotics, nano technology, mobile computing, mobile communications, other frontier technology, chip manufacturing and biotechnology, including genetics and research and development, he said.
 
"The HSIDC plans to offer land to successful companies in the industrial model township at the rate of Rs 4,200 per square metre," the official said.
 
The rate of allotment of land had been disclosed to let bidders had a fair idea of investment required, he added.
 
Applicants will be required to deposit 25 per cent of the cost of land within 60 days of the date of dispatch of the letter conveying approval of the project by the corporation. The balance 75 per cent would be required to be deposited in five equal half yearly installments, the official added.
 
The applicants will have to submit their detailed project report along with a demand draft of Rs 50 lakh as application money to the HSIDC.
