Maya meets Cong chief

After her repeated threats to withdraw support from the UPA government, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BSP supremo Mayawati met Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Sunday night.

This unpublicised meeting is being perceived as Mayawati's attempt to mend ties with the Congress.
