Consulting and audit firm PricewaterhouseCoopers' newly renovated office building in south Delhi has been sealed because of a demolition drive being carried out by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) under Delhi High Court directions. |

The MCD has also stopped PwC from constructing additional floors on another building adjacent to the one that has been sealed. |

"We have sealed one building at Saket and have asked PwC to stop construction of additional floors on the adjoining building. PwC has gone to court and the matter is now sub-judice," an MCD official told Business Standard. The MCD had demolished some portions of the site before the matter went to court. |

The firm confirmed that one of its office buildings had been sealed but declined to comment any further on the matter. PwC is reportedly looking for additional office space in south Delhi or central Delhi. |

The firm had been renovating its office building for nearly one year and the staff was expected to move in shortly. It is estimated to have spent a few crores of rupees on the renovation. |
