As many as 4,000 delegates are expected to deliberate on issues like providing "simple, efficient and prompt services to citizens through mobile and internet" at the meet scheduled from Jul 29 to 31.
The three-day conference, organised by the Centre for Science Development and Media Studies (CSDMS) with support from the Ministry of IT and the UN agency for ICT development, will focus on making e-governance initiatives available in rural India among other issues.
"Apart from discussing ways and means to leverage the capabilities of ICT to promote good governance across the country, the delegates will focus on digital learning to achieve 'education for all' goal," said M P Narayanan, Chairman of the Centre for Science Development and Media Studies (CSDMS).
An exhibition showcasing latest e-governance and digital learning technologies developed by major IT firms will be put on display during the meet to be held at Pragti Maidan.
