MICA to kick start 8th Int'l Entrepreneurship Forum today

Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad, (MICA) and the center of Entrepreneurship Research along with Essex Business School, University of Essex UK, in collaboration with OECD LEED Programme at Paris, France, is all set to host the 8th International Entrepreneurship Forum.
 
Starting today, the two-day conferene aims to help enterpreneurs, policy makers and researchers answer a lot of questions pertaining to the identification of new opportunities for sustainable social and economic changes.
 
On taking up the lead to organise this elaborate event, Gautam Jain, director, post graduate programme in communications management and entrepreneurship, expressed his views, “The basic mission of the institute is thoroughly defined in the areas that satisfy the twin criteria of social relevance and the institute's capability. The forum has been a spearheading entrepreneurship movement throughout the nation with a belief that entrepreneurs need not necessarily be born, but can be developed through well-conceived and well-directed activities.”
 
With over 25 countries and 160 partcipants, the International Entrepreneurship Forum is set to witness the presence of speakers and panelists including Sergio Angenzi, director  SME and OECD in Paris, France, Ajit Balakrishnan, founder chairman and managing director, Rediff.com, Anil Gupta, editor Honeybee, Amarlal Kalro, fellow and former president of the Operational Research Society of India, Pradip Khandwalla,  director IIM, Ahmedabad , Vinod Nair, CEO, Clea PR, Neeraj Roy, managing director and CEO, Hungama Mobile, Jay Ruparel, executive director and COO, Azure Knowledge Center, Madi Sharma, member of European and Social Committee, Brussels, Preeti Vyas, chairperson and executive creative director, Vyas Ginnati, creative, Dr. Ganesh Natrajan, chairman, NASSCOM Global CEO, Zensar Technologies Ltd., Reinhard Klien, directorate-general, Enterprise and Industry, Belgium. 
 
“This is an initiative taken by the Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad, since ‘Entrepreneurship’ is the need of the hour and MICA being a communication school believes in gleamingly outlining every idea with its creatively crafted communications. The central themes of discussion that could be expected during this major conference are, a particular role played by ‘creativity’ in the generation of entrepreneurial opportunities for new venture creations,” said Atul Tandon, director, MICA.
