He said migration of people could not be prevented under the constitution and people coming to Maharashtra from various states were making their contributions in different fields. "I have people from UP and Bihar who take care of my cattle," Pawar added. He refuted reports that his party's Minister in Maharashtra's Congress-NCP Government Ajit Pawar had clashed with Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil over the action to be taken against MNS leader Raj Thackeray for his anti-North Indian speech.
"Ajit Pawar did not attack Patil in the cabinet meeting nor did Patil, who is also the home minister, ever offer to resign on the issue," he said.
