Minister of State for Finance Gingee Ramachandran today resigned from the Cabinet following the arrest of his personal assistant yesterday for accepting bribes for transfer of an Indian revenue service officer.
Ramachandran today made a brief appearance at his office in North Block before leaving in a hurry from the rear entrance to the building.
