MP gives entry tax concessions to nine companies

As many as nine companies were offered entry tax concession for a period of five years. In an Apex Empowerment Committee meet, headed by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the government decided to offer entry tax exemptions to Nahar Polyfilms, Proctor & Gamble, HEG Limited, Chameli Flour Mills, Surya Roshni Limited, Vardhman Yarns, Sanwaria Agroils, Gujarat Ambuja Exports Limited, and Caparo Tubes India.

The committee, which decides on concessions, exemptions from commercial and entry tax, also took the decision to have weekly meetings every Monday. The CM has also asked investors, who receive land and other facilities at concessional rates, to participate in the development process of the local area.
