A statement from Central Silk Board said that the technology transfer for the product will be licensed to large scale manufacturers through the National Research Development Corporation under the Union ministry of science and technology. The drink developed using the standardised method is already prevalent in Japan, China, South Korea and several South East Asian countries. Quoting several research papers and studies, the statement said that drink can counter diabetes, hypertension, gastric problems and at the same time be an energy source for the body. |
