Indications were clear from Karat and his colleagues in their first public rally against the UPA after withdrawal of support from the government: the Left will go to polls packaging their nuclear tirade in form of economic issues and price rise. Although it pulled out of the UPA government for its opposition on the nuclear deal, today Karat conveniently clubbed the issue of price rise too: "Nuclear deal and price rise are enough reasons to withdraw support to the UPA government", he said.
