Nagaland's Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has said the state can turn into an entertainment hub as it is a land of festivals.

"We want to change the prevailing mindset of gun culture to work culture in the state through entertainment," he told a team of visiting South Korean officials at his office chamber here yesterday.

Official sources said the Chief Minister along with senior government officials made a presentation about the state's industrial potential, particularly the entertainment sector, to Korean officials who evinced keen interest in investing in Nagaland.

During his recent visit to South Korea, Rio stuck a deal with the Korean government to send at least 100 Naga youth to be engaged in various industrial sectors of the south-east Asian country.

Following this, Korean officials have arrived here to teach Korean language to the local youth.

The Nagaland government is also organising a Korean festival during its annual Hornbill festival in December.
