The chief minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, today directed the tourism department officials to prepare a time-bound action plan for the development of eco tourism projects in the state.
Reviewing the performance of the tourism industry at the State Tourism Promotion Board meeting, Naidu said new avenues of tourism should be explored from time to time.
He gave his consent for the construction of the View Tower project at Kavuri Hills in the city in six acres land. He also agreed to grant six acres of land at Gachibowli for APTTDC to set up a national institute of tourism and hospitality management.
This would be in addition to the 20 acres already allotted to the APTTDC, according to an official press release here.
