Naidu Demystifies State Budget As Andhra Govt Releases Key Numbers

In a path breaking move, the Andhra Pradesh government Tuesday released the budgetary figures for 2002-03, including policy parameters like fiscal deficit, revenue deficit and debt stock limits, the desirable levels of allocations for priority sectors and affordable levels of capital and non-salary expenditures.

However, no indication was given regarding additional resource mobilisation plans which will be worked out based on the feedback received on the draft.
