Nanjing signs MoU with software export promotion body

To support the IT Industry in India and to diversify the IT Market, Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council has signed an MoU with administrative committee, Nanjing New & High Technology Industry Development Zone (NHZ), People's Republic of China in Bangalore. It is an autonomous organisation under the department of information technology
 
The collaboration agreement was signed between SunWah Group, Hong Kong and Sandell Group, India for setting up joint BPOs operations both in China and India to tap the global market jointly.
 
Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony, P K Sandell, co-chairman, China India Software Association (CISA) stressed that in the first decade of the century there are new challenges for co-operation between IT industries of the two countries.
 
The emphasis should not be on investment by individual companies of each other, but joint operation for exploring global market not just the domestic market of the two countries.
 
The mayor of Nanjing promised Indian companies that they will be given favourable treatment and they will find an assured market.
 
The chairman of Karnataka state committee Ram Agarwal in his speech highlighted the tremendous growth in the IT industry in Bangalore. While thanking the delegation, co-chairman of Karnataka state committee K Vijayraghavan spoke of the probable business relations between Nanjing and Indian IT companies.
 
The co-operation is in the following areas: exchange of Information, receiving delegations to promote their business missions, assistance in trade fair participation, buyer-seller meets, organise/participate seminars and workshops and advisory services on industry status.
