Explaining the details of new construction strategies, the NVDA's Vice Chairman Pradeep Bhargav said that after the in-depth study of the causes of delay in project completion, new construction policy has been derived incorporating the necessary elements, an official release said.
Right from designing to completion, each project work would be handled by three units working together, it said. Bhargav said that departmental engineers would prepare forward planning including all necessary clearances from the Centre and various departments of the Madhya Pradesh government with special emphasis for acquisition of land necessary for the project.
Also the project construction activities would be randomly monitored by NVDA headquarter through state quality monitors, the release said.
Bhargav said that for the first time an incentive of five per cent of the contract amount has been included to the construction agencies who completes the targets within scheduled time limit.
