Economic growth could accelerate to 7.4 per cent in the next fiscal as against 6.5 per cent in 2004-05 if the government carried out reforms, said a leading think-tank today.

"Growth in 2004-05 is expected to be around 6.5 per cent and expected to increase to around 7.4 per cent next fiscal. India perhaps would be the only country in the world, which would grow faster, while growth elsewhere slows down," the National Council for Applied Economic Research said in its monthly report.
