Expressing confidence about the NDA forming a government in Bihar, JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav today said a "comprehensive strategy" is being worked out to ensure its formation before the term of President's rule expires.

"People had given a verdict against (RJD president) Lalu Prasad in Bihar. A "Lalu-minus" government will be formed before President's rule expires," Yadav told reporters.

We are working on a comprehensive strategy for the NDA to come to power in Bihar," the JD(U) parliamentary board president, who is touring the state to consolidate the party position, claimed during his brief stay here.

He, however, refused to divulge details. Bihar was brought under President's rule on March 7 as the Assembly elections had thrown up a hung Assembly in which government formation was not possible.

On the reported resignation threats by 20 Bihar MLAs on failure to form a government before President's rule was extended, he said "who knows... It might be a part of the strategy."

Claiming that he has "trained" Prasad in politics, the JD(U) leader said, "I have put him where he is now. I picked him up when he was busy with his domestic affairs and taught him."

"I have trained over 150 persons in politics, but most of them eventually left me to satisfy their personal aspirations," Yadav claimed.

Adding, several of them were in Madhya Pradesh and had left him due to his "difficult path" - a reason for his party not making it big in the state.
