Netafim to double capacity at Savli

Netafim Irrigation India (NIIPL) has decided to invest Rs 5 crore in the next financial year to double production capacity at its Savli plant at Vadodara.
 
"We plan to double production capacity at our Savli plant in view of the increasing demand for exports," said Zvi Feler, managing director, NIIPL. The Savli facility's production capacity is around 6 crore meters at present.
 
The Rs 350-crore company is involved in the manufacture of drip irrigation systems.
 
Apart from catering to domestic demand, the company plans to raise exports from 10 per cent of the turnover to 25 per cent in the next financial year. NIIPL accounts for 15 per cent of the country's drip irrigation needs.
 
The company has four manufacturing bases in Israel, two in China, one each in USA, Brazil, Australia and India.
 
It has regional offices in Hyderabad, Pune, Jalgaon, Nashik and has a presence in ten Indian states "" Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Karnataka.
 
Netafim India also provides agronomical support to all its customers to improve the quality and quantity of various crops.
