Union Minister of State for Railways K H Muniyappa today said a new train would be introduced between Mysore and Bangalore within a month.
Speaking at a function here, he said work on doubling Mysore-Bangalore railway track would be completed after shifting Tipu Sultan’s armoury at Srirangapatna and acquisition of the required 45 acres of land.
“Work on doubling of Mysore-Bangalore railway track before 2013,” Muniyappa said. He also said a survey of the Mysore-Kushalnagar railway track would also be completed soon.
