The Government today said it does not centrally maintain a record of business visa violations by foreigners.
The Government also said it has issued a total of 5.78 lakh business visas to foreigners from 104 Indian Missions since 2009.
"The Foreigners Regional Registration Offices (FRROs) and Foreigners Registration Offices (FROs) keep surveillance and vigil on the movement and activities of the foreign nationals within their respective jurisdictions.
"Whenever a case of violation of visa comes to notice, the foreign national concerned is either granted exit or deported. After the exit of the foreign national, action is also taken to place his/her name in the negative list to ban his/her entry into India. Details of such cases of violations of business visas are not centrally maintained," Minister of State for Home M Ramachandran told Rajya
