Giving a boost to the sale of local traditional handicrafts and handloom products, the government of Himachal Pradesh has started e-shopping facility of its exotic hand-made products.
The buyer can browse the state-run Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation’s website and order woollen caps, shawls, mufflers, stoles, jewellery, carpets, dolls, chamba rumals, footwear and Kangra miniature paintings. The order can be received within three weeks.
“The handicraft corporation has launched its a website, ww.himachalcrafts.com which showcases the famous traditional local products for domestic and global handicraft buyers,” the official said. The company is running 17 sales emporia including one each in Delhi and Bangalore.
