Democratic Senator Barack Obama is said to be leading the race for the next US President.
According to reports, Obama is projected to have won two key states - Ohio and New Mexico - both won by Republicans in 2004.
Apart from this, Obama is projected to have won 16 other states including home-town IIIinois, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire and Delaware.
On the hand, McCain is projected to have won 13 state including Kentucky, South Caroline, Alabama, Taxas and West Virginia.
