Global crude oil prices made further headways yesterday, with the Nymex U.S. light crude oil for July delivery rising by $2.62 to $54.60 a barrel. The London Brent crude appreciated by $2.46 to settle at $53.30 per barrel.The metal category saw the Comex gold dip $1.20 to $417.70 an ounce.
