Oil stocks, which skided 3% on Wednesday, hovered around $44 per barrel yesterday. While U.S. Light crude oil for February series ended slightly lower at $44.18 a barrel, the London Brent crude also finished marginally weak at $40.75 per barrel.In the metal segment, the COMEX Gold moved up nearly 2% to close at $442.90 an ounce.
